As the weather seems to be improving here in Spain.  Unfortunately not in the UK!

Here are some idioms associated with the weather.

It’s raining ‘cats and dogs’ outside, means it’s raining very heavily outside!  Typical UK summer weather!

Keeping with rain.

It’s ‘lovely weather for ducks’ means, this terrible rainy weather must be good for something.
