Phrasal verbs.

I finally got around to’ fixing the leak on the garage roof.

‘Get around to’ – means, finally get to do something, making the effort to do something.

Conversation between 2 friends:

Friend 1: “Have you heard?”

Friend 2: “Heard what?”

Friend 1: “Wendy’s left her husband!”

Friend 2: “Give over!

‘Give over’ – means, an expression of disbelief, or the person cannot believe it.
